The Front Door to Care Just Got Faster
Healthcare often begins before a patient ever enters a clinic. It begins with the first phone call, the first question, the first booking request, and the first moment someone decides whether care feels easy to reach.
This September, we focused on making that front door faster and more useful. MEDI now delivers a more natural calling experience, clinics are finding practical value in outgoing patient outreach, and our Juvonno integration supports more of the workflows that connect a patient request to a completed booking.
In short: MEDI is becoming easier for patients to speak with and more capable for clinic teams to rely on.

A new MEDI AI is live
We have rolled out a new AI experience for MEDI. Conversations feel more natural, responses arrive with lower latency, and MEDI is stronger at following clinic-approved logic throughout a call.
The improvement is not simply about making the voice sound better. It is about reducing the small moments of friction that can make an automated conversation feel slow, confusing, or disconnected from how a clinic actually operates.
Patients receive a smoother, less robotic experience. There is less waiting between what a patient says and what MEDI does next. MEDI can also follow smarter routing, handoff, and decision rules while staying within the workflows approved by the clinic.
Together, these changes help MEDI handle the moments patients regularly call about: booking intent, routing questions, appointment changes, and situations that need a front-desk handoff.
Outgoing calls are becoming a practical clinic growth workflow
Incoming calls are only one side of clinic communication. Many teams also maintain patient lists that require timely outreach: waitlists, recalls, overdue follow-ups, and patients who have fallen out of an active care plan.
Outgoing MEDI campaigns give clinics a focused way to work through those lists. A clinic can begin with a defined patient group, run a purpose-built calling workflow, and guide each patient toward a clear next step without adding another manual call queue for staff.
Clinics can fill cancellations by contacting people on a waitlist or patients who are overdue for an appointment. They can recall patients for follow-ups, laboratory work, annual visits, or ongoing care plans. They can also reconnect with lapsed patients before those patients fall out of care entirely.
The value comes from keeping each campaign specific. A well-defined list, an approved conversation flow, and a clear desired outcome make outgoing calls easier for clinic teams to understand, monitor, and improve.

Juvonno clinics now get our deepest integration experience
For clinics running Juvonno, MEDI now works across more of the workflows that matter most to patients and staff.
The experience includes service-aware scheduling, live availability, booking actions, rebooking, cancellations, reminders, intake, follow-up, and staff handoffs. The goal is to connect the conversation to the clinic’s actual operating rules instead of treating the phone call as a separate system.
MEDI can match a patient’s request to approved services and appointment durations. It can account for branch, practitioner, and availability rules before presenting suitable options. When authorized, it can complete booking or updating actions while helping keep the patient record current.
When a request requires human attention, MEDI can escalate the call with relevant context attached. This gives staff a clearer starting point and reduces the need for patients to repeat everything they have already explained.
Building a better first experience of care
For patients, the front door to healthcare should feel responsive and straightforward. For clinic teams, improving that experience should not require more manual work at the front desk.
That is the direction behind this month’s updates: a more natural AI phone assistant, practical outgoing workflows, and deeper integration with the systems clinics already use.
