FOLLOW THE INFORMATION

Understand the journey.
Agree the boundaries.

Your review should cover the full workflow, from the patient’s first words to the information your clinic keeps.

Calls, voicemail and messages enter the clinic-approved workflow.

Review identity and consent steps

MEDI follows your rules

Organize the request and perform the actions your team has agreed.

A supported system receives the outcome, or staff receive the next task.

Review retention and handoff ownership

PRIVACY, IN PRACTICE

The questions
worth answering.

Our published approach describes encrypted data handling, controlled access and Canadian infrastructure. Your service review should confirm the details for your clinic.

Where information goes

Review processing and storage locations, the services involved and your EMR connection.

Who can access it

Confirm staff permissions, authorized support access and the records available for review.

What is retained

Agree the handling of recordings, transcripts and summaries, including retention and deletion.

When a person steps in

Set clear boundaries for clinical questions, sensitive requests and unavailable staff.

DOCUMENTATION FOR YOUR REVIEW

Start with the documents.
Talk through the details.

These are MEDI-prepared materials for your clinic’s assessment, not regulator-issued certifications.

PRACTICAL ANSWERS

Confidence comes
from clarity.

Is MEDI SOC 2 Type II certified?

The programme is currently underway. Request the latest status and available supporting materials. This page does not present an issued SOC 2 report.

Do these PIA documents replace our clinic’s assessment?

The listed reports support your review. Your clinic should assess its actual configuration, workflow and information handling with the appropriate privacy lead.

Can we start with a limited workflow?

Yes. A defined voicemail, overflow or outreach pathway gives your team a focused starting point. Agree the actions, escalation destinations and review process before activation.

What should happen when a patient asks a clinical question?

Agree the clinic-approved handoff route and the context staff need. MEDI should not make independent medication or treatment decisions. Test both answered and unanswered transfers during setup.

How do we discuss privacy or security concerns?

Contact hello@talktomedi.com and describe the concern without including patient information in the initial email. The team can coordinate the appropriate next step.
